Your assets. Together in one Portfolio.
Behind every valuable asset is a collection of information: what it is, where it came from, its condition, who has handled it and where it was last recorded.
As assets move between homes, warehouses, galleries and exhibitions, that information often becomes scattered across emails, photographs, spreadsheets and separate systems. Each person may hold part of the story, while nobody has a complete record.
Lucett brings those connections together around the asset itself.
Built from practical experience
Founded in 2017, Lucett grew from first-hand experience in fine art handling and logistics. The same problem appeared repeatedly: an object could be carefully packed, transported and installed, while its supporting information became fragmented along the way.
Lucett was developed to help close that gap. Its approach starts with giving the physical asset a persistent digital identity, allowing its record to develop throughout its life.
Practical experience continues to shape the platform. Identification, condition reporting, location records and operational history are connected parts of caring for an asset.
One identity. A continuous history.
Lucett uses RFID identification to connect physical assets with their digital records. A tag provides the link, while the information is held within the platform.
As an asset is scanned, inspected, moved or delivered, its record can grow. Photographs, documents and operational events help build a history that remains connected to the item.
Access is controlled through permissions, allowing relevant information to be shared with the people who need it.
Connecting the people around an asset
Asset owners and family offices
A collection may be spread across several properties, storage locations and ongoing projects. Lucett brings those assets together in one Portfolio, helping owners and their authorised teams find records, review condition information and understand where an asset was last recorded.
The aim is continuity, whether an item remains in the same home for decades or moves regularly between locations.
Transporters and art handlers
Transporters contribute much of the information that accompanies an asset through its life. Collection, packing, storage, inspection, transport and installation all create moments worth recording.
Lucett connects that operational work with the assets involved, helping teams maintain records of what happened, when it happened and who was responsible.
Interior designers
A design project brings together pieces from different suppliers, often arriving at different times and passing through storage before installation.
Lucett helps keep the details of those pieces connected through that process. Photographs, references, condition records and location information can remain with each item as it moves towards its intended space, supporting coordination with suppliers, transporters and clients.
Insurers
Understanding an asset’s history and circumstances matters when assessing and managing risk.
With the appropriate authorisation, insurers can access relevant asset information, condition records and movement history. This provides a clearer basis for discussion between owners, their representatives and insurance professionals, supported by records connected to the assets concerned.
Made for the things people value
Art, furniture, decorative objects and collections carry more than financial value. They hold personal meaning, craftsmanship and history.
Lucett helps keep the information that matters connected to them, through the places they occupy and the people entrusted with their care.
Building for the wider network
Our ambition is to connect more of the work that takes place around valuable assets, while keeping the asset and its history at the centre.
The roadmap includes CRM, Bid Board, an Insurer Module, a Gallery Module, an HRM Module and ArtIntel. These developments are at different stages and are not all currently available.
CRM
Extending the connection between client relationships and the work undertaken for them, bringing commercial context closer to operational records.
Bid Board
A planned space for connecting service requirements with potential providers within the network.
Insurer Module
Developing a dedicated environment for insurance professionals to work with the asset information shared with them through authorised access.
Gallery Module
Extending Lucett to support the needs of galleries and their work with artworks, associated records and movements.
HRM Module
Bringing a dedicated focus to the people behind the operation and the administration that supports them.
ArtIntel
A planned intelligence capability within Lucett. Its scope and features will be explained as development progresses.
Connected by design
Each development follows the same principle: information should become more useful as it connects, while remaining accessible only to those authorised to use it.
